Tall Ship Regatta

In honour of our nation’s 150th anniversary, eleven tall ships from around the world will be sailing Canadian waters this summer. They’re scheduled to drop anchor at the port of Bath in front of the picturesque grounds of the Fairfield Gutzeit House from July 7th – 9th.

Thousands of visitors are expected to attend this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get an up close and personal view of these majestic sea vessels. Spectators will have the opportunity to tour each of the tall ships, enjoy live music, visit a variety of vendors, and participate in children’s activities. There are also historical naval demonstrations – including a naval battle out on the water on the Saturday evening.

A craft beer garden will be on site that features four craft brewers from the area.

Event Passports are on sale now. Advance day passes are available for only $12 each ($15 at the gate). Weekend passes are available for $20. Children under 10 are admitted free.

PirateSome exciting special events are also taking place over the weekend.

A fun ‘Pirate Cruise’ is happening on the evening of July 7th. The “Capt’n Tor & The Naer-Do-Well-Cads Pirate Invasion” is boarding the Tall Ship ‘Empire Sandy’ as part of the festivities. Capt’n Tor and his rowdy crew will provide a full musical-theatrical show. Limited tickets are available for only $50 per person.

There is also a very unique 2-hour morning sail on the Empire Sandy on July 8th. The cost to participate is only $30 each.
