Lennox & Addington County will soon have a new place where visitors can rest their heads. On March 7th, Choice Hotels Canada, Canada’s largest hotel franchisor, announced the development of a new build Comfort Inn & Suites in Napanee.

The Comfort Inn & Suites Napanee will be located along the busy 401 corridor at 31 Community Road, just north of Highway 401 at exit 579.  Designed to welcome both leisure and business travellers, the hotel will include 66 guest rooms and amenities that include both an indoor swimming pool and fitness centre.

“We are so pleased to be bringing a new hotel to Lennox & Addington County,” said Shahid Mahmood, President, Waraich Development Group. “We look forward to providing a welcoming environment, great service and a comfortable stay to our future guests.”

“This is slated to be a significant year for our new build Comfort properties,” says Brian Leon, managing director, Choice Hotels Canada. “We’ve had a lot of interest and positive feedback on the new format and we are confident this latest addition will be just as well received.”

The new Comfort Inn & Suites Napanee is expected to open their doors to guests in mid-late summer 2018. This much-needed addition will increase the number of available hotel/motel rooms in Greater Napanee by approximately 45 percent.
