Living Here

Charmingly Rural

A little town surrounded by beautiful countryside

Throughout the early 1900’s this community was a small hamlet without much of a commercial footprint. The construction of Addington Road built on Beaver Creek, opened up opportunities for commerce and mills. By 1920, Northbrook was thriving with a new school, and many businesses.

Today, Pine Meadow Nursing Home is the largest employer and this combined with the Northbrook Medical Centre makes this little town known as a place to go for medical and social services. There are also many other stores and services located right in the town.
