Themed Exhibits

The story of the settlement and historical development of L&A is highlighted in a number of themed exhibits displayed within the Museum & Archives. Artifacts from the textile, furniture, domestic arts, tools and equipment collections are showcased on a changing basis. Guest exhibitions are also presented.

An online database about the history of L&A

PastPerfect Lennox & Addington is an online database that describes the artifacts and archival records that document the history and development of our great county. Significant artifact collections include textiles, agricultural implements, furniture and household wares. Archival records include photographs, textual records and maps.

Virtual Exhibits

Learn more about artifacts made and used by people in Lennox and Addington. Curators at each of L&A’s museums offer interpretation of how significant artifacts in their collections defined individuals and communities and influenced local, regional and world events. Each artifact is described in detail online complete with photographs and written sources. The Lennox & Addington E-History Project was undertaken with generous financial support from the Government of Ontario, Ministry of Culture, Museums and Technology Fund, and the County of Lennox & Addington.
