Kayaking on the Napanee River

The views from the water this time of year are amazing. The brilliant colours of fall reflecting off still lakes and rivers are spectacular, and the cool autumn air makes the experience all the more enjoyable.

One of my favourite places to paddle my kayak is the Napanee River. I usually launch just east of Springside Park falls at the small boat launch at the west end of King Street. From there you can paddle almost to Strathcona if you have the stamina to do so.
