The views from the water this time of year are amazing. The brilliant colours of fall reflecting off still lakes and rivers are spectacular, and the cool autumn air makes the experience all the more enjoyable.
One of my favourite places to paddle my kayak is the Napanee River. I usually launch just east of Springside Park falls at the small boat launch at the west end of King Street. From there you can paddle almost to Strathcona if you have the stamina to do so.
Below are some photographs from my most recent paddling adventure. We’d love to see your photos too. Tag us on Facebook or Instagram with #unspoiledLA. Enjoy!

The foliage slowly changing from summertime green to the earthy tones of fall.
Beautiful red maple leaves hang low over the water.
Lucky homeowners have a spectacular view of the river.
A blazing red maple lights up the shoreline.
More stunning reflections.
A quiet, peaceful stretch of the river. It doesn’t get much better than this.
