You can see the moon from everywhere, but have you ever looked at it up close? Join us at the L&A Dark Sky Viewing Area for our “Up Close with The Moon” event on Saturday, August 26th at 9pm. Volunteer Tim Trentadue will be at the Dark Sky Viewing Area to teach visitors bit about the moon, and you can take a up close look at its surface through his high powered telescope.
